HOUSEHOLD SALVATION

 Greeting to all Member and Students!

This morning as I was praying the Lord dropped this into my spirit about Household Salvation! The Lord wants each of us to know that we have a promise for our entire household to be saved, delivered and set free from all that hinders and keeps them in bondage to the Devil!

For to long we have just been satisfied that some in our households are just wayward and we have wrung our hands and even at times really given up hope for them to be saved and for them to be set free from addictions, illnesses and even mental illnesses.

Now I am not saying any of this to put anyone under a guilt trip because they don't see their entire families walking with the Lord. But what I am saying is this "Don' give up hope no matter how in the depths of despair you are concerning you children, spouses, loved ones, friends, neighbors or others that you have prayed for and especially those of your own household.

We have a promise that just as we have received salvation so can our families and as you reading the article you will understand what I am saying.

Don't give up on your children even if you don't see them serving the Lord right now and everything in the natural is screaming ...that they are doomed to this life that they are in...it is not true...it is a lie from the pits of hell...and Satan has been very successful in furthering this lie....because he is a liar and the Father of all lies.

There were four scriptures that the Lord gave me concerning this and I believe that it is for each of us that need to see "Household Salvation" come to our Household in entirety!

The first scripture has to deal with Fear because that is how the enemy is keeping you from believing for your household to receive total salvation...total salvation includes more than just a free ticket to heaven and bypassing hell. It not only includes that but includes freedom from all addictions, mental illnesses and also infirmities of any kind....there is so much more involved and I encourage you to do an extensive study on the word salvation in the Greek and the Hebrew...It means so much more than we have known or even been taught.

1st Take authority over fear by speaking this promise scripture "For God hath not give us the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1: 7

Pray that for yourself and then pray that for each member of your family...and insert their name...pray this in proxy for them...claim them for the Kingdom and say that "God hath not given _____________the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind." insert their name in the blank.

2nd Scripture is Luke 19:9 "Today salvation has come to this house." Speak this over your house

3rd Scripture

Every time one of your household members feels they are not saved and will not be with the Lord then remind them of this promise. Everytime the enemy rises up with thoughts that make you doubt their salvation your own say this scripture:
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will cleanse us our sin, and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1: 9 Let them hear this from your mouth and encourage them to say this and when they miss the mark and sin...encourage them to be quick to repent...do not beat them over the head with their sin...but let them know that forgiveness if available to them each time they fall!

4th Scripture (added while I was studying)

2 Peter 3: 9 Old English Translation

The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I encourage each of you and most especially those in ministry to not rest until you see your entire household come to the Lord....I firmly believe that before we go out to minister to others that we should have spent all to bring our on households to the Lord.

I heard a Lady Minister say this one time about something the Lord spoke to her about her ministry. "What will you gain if you go out to save the entire world but those in your household are not saved?"
Again I do not wish to shame anyone but only to build you up so you can have great success in your ministry but I do believe as we begin to hold on to this promise that we shall see our Household coming into the Kingdom and as we do the Lord will send us out and our ministries will be even stronger than before.

We must take care of those in our own households first. In Acts 1: The Lord said this, "When the Holy Ghost has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere----in Jerusalem(which I believe is your own Household) Throughout Judea(friends and neighbors) in Samaria (those that are not necessarily in your sphere of influence but would encompass the region where you live and your nation, those in authority) and then to the ends of the earth.

I believe the Lord put it in that order because he expected us to take care of business in our own homes first and with our own people but he did not want us to stop there he goes on to say and to the ends of the earth.

He wants us to bring the good news to all but I believe he is admonishing us to begin with our own households before we branch out...if we do this...he will then send us out with His blessing and we shall have great success and bring forth much fruit!

The bottom line is don't give up on your families....God says to rise up and take the land and that includes each of the members in your family...He has given the heathen for our inheritance....begin with your own household....Lets be determined that each in our Household is not only saved initially but also Baptized in the Holy Ghost and set free from every thing that is hindering them in their walk with the Lord be it addictions, illnesses, habits, no self control, lying, stealing, pornography, adultery, fornication...you know what I mean anything and everything that we are faced with in our families. Let
us determine that this is the year that we see Household Salvation!
